Sales Manager - SR

Your task structure

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Accountable for sales activities related to Coatings business in Southern China;

Assist Regional Sales Manager to manage the sales team for Coating industry at Southern China;

Accountable for sales target achievement in specific area;

Drive business growth in assigned customer segment;

Generate & deliver new projects (Coatings) with significant impact on business performance;

Works closely with Technical Marketing in support of product development initiatives, provision technical support and training to customers;

Works closely with Technical Marketing and Supply Chain teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions to customers’ demands;

Collect market intelligence, monitor and evaluate sales activities and products for competition;

Coordinate activities with distributors on the execution of sales plans. Maintain & improve sales channel performance.

Your recipe for success

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering, or Polymer Science with industrial experience | Strong skills in design, synthesis, and characterization of organic molecules or polymers | Background in surface and colloid science or coatings technology preferred | Experience in manufacturing support preferred | Experience in silicone chemistry desirable | Excellent verbal and written communication skills
